About John Damiani
John always dreamed of working with steel. Unfortunately, providing for his family came first, and his passion for steel art came second. His career as a I.A.T.S.E. Local 8 Stagehand, and I.A.T.S.E. Local 52 Studio Mechanic enhanced his view of the arts and helped his creativity grow. He truly began his artistic journey making industrial style tables, lamps, light fixtures, stools, and other household furniture during his spare time. Shortly after, his passion switched to artistic sculptures. When creating sculptures, he often reflects upon not only his own life but also the world around him. Whether it is making sculptures that represent social injustice or making something for a friend in need of a smile, he is a truly philanthropic man who enjoys using his art to help others in need. John has donated pieces of his art collection to various individuals to auction off for causes he feels passionately about. He hopes to be able to reach as many people as possible with his art all the while making a positive difference in the world.
